India Voices Gulf Concern, Backs Safe Trade Flow During UAE Talks

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed India's deep concern over the Gulf situation during a meeting with UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He emphasized support for the free, safe, and unimpeded flow of trade, energy, and fertiliser. Jaishankar also affirmed India's backing for dialogue and diplomacy to de-escalate regional tensions. The UAE Deputy PM is in Mumbai to strengthen bilateral partnerships, highlighting the close engagement between the two nations. The discussions also touched upon ensuring the well-being of the Indian community in the UAE.

विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने यूएई के उप प्रधानमंत्री शेख अब्दुल्ला बिन जायद अल नाहयान के साथ एक बैठक के दौरान खाड़ी की स्थिति पर भारत की गहरी चिंता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने व्यापार, ऊर्जा और उर्वरक के मुक्त, सुरक्षित और निर्बाध प्रवाह के लिए समर्थन पर जोर दिया। जयशंकर ने क्षेत्रीय तनाव को कम करने के लिए बातचीत और कूटनीति के लिए भारत के समर्थन की भी पुष्टि की। यूएई के उप प्रधानमंत्री दोनों देशों के बीच घनिष्ठ जुड़ाव को उजागर करते हुए द्विपक्षीय साझेदारी को मजबूत करने के लिए मुंबई में हैं। चर्चाओं में यूएई में भारतीय समुदाय की भलाई सुनिश्चित करने पर भी बात हुई।
