Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's health food department has sealed two food outlets, Gayatri Chavana Mart and Saurashtra Bhajiya and Ganthiya, ahead of Diwali. Both establishments were found to be operating without valid FSSAI licences or registrations. Additionally, hygiene norms were violated, with workers not using protective gear and premises failing to meet FSSAI Schedule 4 standards. At one outlet, frying oil exceeded permissible limits, and there was no approved disposal tie-up for used cooking oil.
