Delhi Traders Urge Rahul Gandhi To Postpone INDIA Bloc Rally

The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has requested Rahul Gandhi to postpone the INDIA bloc's November 1 rally in Delhi. CTI cited concerns that the rally, scheduled for Ramlila Maidan, could disrupt significant festive season business. Traders highlighted that Dhanteras alone generates approximately ₹25,000 crore in business for Delhi. They also pointed to previous losses of nearly ₹3,000 crore due to disruptions near Connaught Place. The association urged holding the rally after November 10, post-Bhai Dooj, to protect commercial interests.

चैंबर ऑफ ट्रेड एंड इंडस्ट्री (CTI) ने राहुल गांधी से INDIA गठबंधन की 1 नवंबर की दिल्ली रैली को स्थगित करने का अनुरोध किया है। CTI ने चिंता जताई कि रामलीला मैदान में होने वाली यह रैली त्योहारी सीजन के महत्वपूर्ण व्यापार को बाधित कर सकती है। व्यापारियों ने बताया कि अकेले धनतेरस पर दिल्ली में लगभग ₹25,000 करोड़ का व्यापार होता है। उन्होंने कनॉट प्लेस के पास व्यवधानों के कारण पहले हुए लगभग ₹3,000 करोड़ के नुकसान का भी जिक्र किया। एसोसिएशन ने व्यावसायिक हितों की रक्षा के लिए रैली को 10 नवंबर के बाद, भाई दूज के बाद आयोजित करने का आग्रह किया है।
