Thousands of students and teachers rallied across Greece, calling for greater investment in education, including improved facilities and smaller class sizes. The demonstrations in Athens and other cities echo similar youth-led protests seen across Europe amid rising living costs and stagnant wages. Protesters highlighted the difficulty of surviving in Greece due to high rents and low salaries, with many young people priced out of housing. The Greek government stated it is investing over 733 million euros in student residences and facility upgrades.
