Trustee Objects To Education Trust Paying Legal Costs

Mehli Mistry, a trustee of the Tata Education and Development Trust (TEDT), has objected to the use of its funds for legal expenses in the dispute between Tata Trusts and Tata Sons. He stated in an email that TEDT will not bear any legal costs as it is not a Tata Sons shareholder. This objection arises from the ongoing boardroom battle over N Chandrasekaran's reappointment as Tata Sons Chairman.

टाटा एजुकेशन एंड डेवलपमेंट ट्रस्ट (TEDT) के ट्रस्टी मेहली मिस्त्री ने टाटा ट्रस्ट्स और टाटा संस के बीच चल रहे विवाद में कानूनी खर्चों के लिए ट्रस्ट के फंड के इस्तेमाल पर आपत्ति जताई है। उन्होंने एक ईमेल में कहा कि TEDT कोई भी कानूनी खर्च नहीं उठाएगा, क्योंकि यह टाटा संस का शेयरधारक नहीं है। यह आपत्ति एन चंद्रशेखरन की टाटा संस के चेयरमैन के तौर पर फिर से नियुक्ति को लेकर चल रही बोर्डरूम की लड़ाई से उपजी है।
