David Aguilar, an inventor from Andorra, has created a functional prosthetic arm using LEGO Technic helicopter parts. Growing up with an underdeveloped right forearm and facing childhood taunts, Aguilar began experimenting with LEGO prosthetics at age nine. By 18, he had developed a mechanical arm that earned him a Guinness World Record. His invention later assisted eight-year-old Beknur Zhanibekuly, who was born with underdeveloped arms. Aguilar designed two LEGO-based devices for Beknur, including one controlled by a foot and another with a stylus for touchscreens, earning further world records.
