संजय मांजरेकर का मानना है कि श्रेयस अय्यर की कप्तानी वाली भारतीय पुरुष टीम एशियाई खेलों में अपना गोल्ड मेडल बचाने की क्षमता रखती है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत ने एशियाई क्रिकेट में एक नया मापदंड स्थापित किया है। हरमनप्रीत कौर की अगुवाई वाली महिला टीम भी अपना ऐतिहासिक गोल्ड बरकरार रखना चाहती है। क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता 17 सितंबर को महिला टूर्नामेंट से शुरू होगी, इसके बाद 24 सितंबर को पुरुष टूर्नामेंट होगा।
