Sridhar Vembu of Zoho Corporation has stated that major AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic do not face immediate pressure to accelerate their development. He suggested that these companies can afford to proceed at a more measured pace without external forces compelling them to rush. This perspective comes as Zoho, headquartered in Chennai, celebrates its 30th anniversary and launches Zia Chat, an AI-powered conversational interface.
