Kanimozhi Accuses BJP Govt. of Undermining Constitution and People's Rights

DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has accused the BJP government at the Centre of undermining constitutional values and the rights of citizens. She stated that the government brands anyone questioning it as "anti-national" and lacks faith in democracy and elected representatives. Kanimozhi highlighted that the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has disenfranchised nearly 13 crore citizens nationwide, including 74 lakh in Tamil Nadu. She believes the youth are fighting for those deprived of their voting rights.

कनिमोझी का आरोप, बीजेपी सरकार संविधान और लोगों के अधिकारों को कमजोर कर रही है

डीएमके सांसद कनिमोझी करुणानिधि ने केंद्र की बीजेपी सरकार पर संवैधानिक मूल्यों और नागरिकों के अधिकारों को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार सवाल उठाने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति को "राष्ट्र-विरोधी" करार देती है और उसे लोकतंत्र व चुने हुए प्रतिनिधियों पर भरोसा नहीं है। कनिमोझी ने बताया कि विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण के कारण देशभर में करीब 13 करोड़ नागरिक अपने मताधिकार से वंचित हो गए हैं, जिनमें तमिलनाडु के 74 लाख लोग शामिल हैं। उनका मानना है कि युवा उन लोगों के लिए लड़ रहे हैं जिन्हें वोट देने के अधिकार से वंचित कर दिया गया है।
