Ex-Air Force Officer's Body Recovered From River in Dhaka

Police in Dhaka recovered the body of former Air Force Flight Lieutenant K.M. Tahsif Souri from the Turag River. Souri, who was in his late 20s, had reportedly filmed a video of deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaving Bangladesh on August 5, 2024. His body was found wearing white trousers and a black shirt, with a phone and wristwatch helping to establish his identity. Souri was dismissed from service in August 2024 and was reportedly under intelligence surveillance.
