Odisha CM Praises Frontline Workers for Health Gains

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lauded the significant contributions of anganwadi, ASHA, and other frontline workers in reducing infant and maternal mortality rates. He highlighted the crucial first 1,000 days of a child's life and emphasized the state government's goal of an 'adequately nourished Odisha' through various nutrition programs. Majhi noted that over 46 lakh activities were conducted during Poshan Maah, and the state achieved top national ranking in Aadhaar verification.

ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण मांझी ने शिशु और मातृ मृत्यु दर को कम करने में आंगनवाड़ी, आशा और अन्य फ्रंटलाइन कार्यकर्ताओं के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान की सराहना की। उन्होंने बच्चे के जीवन के पहले 1,000 दिनों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला और विभिन्न पोषण कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से 'पर्याप्त रूप से पोषित ओडिशा' के राज्य सरकार के लक्ष्य पर जोर दिया। मांझी ने बताया कि पोषण माह के दौरान 46 लाख से अधिक गतिविधियां की गईं, और राज्य ने आधार सत्यापन में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया।
