Bihar Govt Launches Haemophilia Scheme, Allocates Rs 26 Crore For Advanced Drug Procurement

The Bihar government has launched the Mukhyamantri Haemophilia Yojana to provide advanced treatment for haemophilia patients. The state health department has sanctioned Rs 26.33 crore for the first year to procure Emicizumab, a non-factor drug for the blood disorder. This initiative aims to make advanced haemophilia treatment more affordable and accessible across the state. Health Minister Nishant Kumar stated that ensuring timely access to quality medical care for haemophilia patients is a departmental priority.

बिहार सरकार ने हीमोफिलिया के मरीजों के लिए एडवांस इलाज मुहैया कराने हेतु 'मुख्यमंत्री हीमोफिलिया योजना' की शुरुआत की है। राज्य के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने खून की इस बीमारी के लिए नॉन-फैक्टर दवा एमिसिजुमैब (Emicizumab) की खरीद के लिए पहले साल 26.33 करोड़ रुपये मंजूर किए हैं। इस पहल का मकसद पूरे राज्य में हीमोफिलिया के एडवांस इलाज को सस्ता और सुलभ बनाना है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री निशांत कुमार ने कहा कि हीमोफिलिया के मरीजों को समय पर अच्छी मेडिकल सुविधा मिले, यह विभाग की प्राथमिकता है।
