Puttur MLA Performs Bhoomi Pooja For New Hospital

Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a new 300-bed hospital in Puttur, part of a proposed Government Medical College. The project, sanctioned at Rs 550 crore by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, aims to fulfill a 40-year-old demand. The hospital will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 180 crore. The MLA expressed a vision to transform the region into a medical hub, with plans for nursing and Ayurvedic colleges, and the inauguration of a veterinary college nearby soon.
