The Miami Dolphins have released kicker Riley Patterson and signed Zane Gonzalez to the practice squad as his replacement. Gonzalez, previously with the Atlanta Falcons, brings significant NFL experience with a career field goal percentage of 81% over 79 games. Patterson, in his second season with the Dolphins, struggled in the early part of 2026 after a strong 2025 season. The team also made roster moves involving Rodney McGraw, Storm Duck, and Andre Jones Jr. as they adjust their special teams and defensive units.
