A powerful explosion occurred at the MRPL complex in Mangaluru, Karnataka. The blast was so intense that tremors were felt in residential areas, causing panic among locals. Immediately following the incident, a large plume of black smoke rose into the sky above the refinery. Emergency services, including five fire tenders and SDRF teams, were dispatched to the scene. Police Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Reddy arrived to oversee rescue and relief operations.
