Kochi Mercedes Crash Victim's Family Disappointed By High Court Order

The family of a scooterist killed in a Mercedes-Benz crash in Kochi has expressed disappointment following a Kerala High Court order. The court directed police not to arrest the additional district and sessions judge, whose 17-year-old son was allegedly driving the car. The judge had sought anticipatory bail after being named an accused. The victim's daughter stated they respect the decision but will pursue the matter legally. The accident occurred when a speeding Mercedes-Benz hit the scooterist on Container Road.

कोच्चि में मर्सिडीज-बेंज दुर्घटना में मारे गए स्कूटर सवार के परिवार ने केरल हाई कोर्ट के एक आदेश के बाद निराशा व्यक्त की है। अदालत ने पुलिस को अतिरिक्त जिला और सत्र न्यायाधीश को गिरफ्तार नहीं करने का निर्देश दिया, जिनके 17 वर्षीय बेटे पर कथित तौर पर कार चलाने का आरोप है। न्यायाधीश ने आरोपी बनाए जाने के बाद अग्रिम जमानत मांगी थी। पीड़ित की बेटी ने कहा कि वे फैसले का सम्मान करते हैं लेकिन कानूनी रूप से मामले को आगे बढ़ाएंगे। यह दुर्घटना तब हुई जब एक तेज रफ्तार मर्सिडीज-बेंज ने कंटेनर रोड पर स्कूटर सवार को टक्कर मार दी।
