BJP MP Says PM Modi Committed to J&K Statehood, Calls Resolution 'Eywash'

Senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains committed to granting Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He dismissed a recent resolution passed by the J&K Assembly as an "eyewash" and an attempt by the NC to distract from public issues and their declining popularity. Chugh asserted that Statehood was already promised by the PM in the Lok Sabha. He urged the NC to abandon separatist politics and address their failures in development and fulfilling promises instead of playing resolution games.

वरिष्ठ BJP नेता तरुण चुघ ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जम्मू और कश्मीर को राज्य का दर्जा देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। उन्होंने J&K असेंबली द्वारा हाल ही में पारित एक प्रस्ताव को 'आंखों का धोखा' और NC द्वारा जनता के मुद्दों और उनकी घटती लोकप्रियता से ध्यान भटकाने का प्रयास बताया। चुघ ने दावा किया कि राज्य का दर्जा देने का वादा PM पहले ही लोकसभा में कर चुके हैं। उन्होंने NC से अलगाववादी राजनीति छोड़ने और प्रस्तावों के खेल खेलने के बजाय विकास और वादे पूरे करने में अपनी विफलताओं को संबोधित करने का आग्रह किया।
