Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has reacted to viral slogans from women's safety protests in Delhi, questioning why such chants have become necessary. The demonstrations were sparked by the alleged gang rape of a 17-year-old. Chouhan highlighted slogans like 'Ek kachori-do samosa, in mardo ka kya bharosa,' urging serious consideration of the situation. He called for a collective commitment to ensuring women's safety and dignity. The protests have led to safety audits of public parks and increased police patrolling.
