Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has commissioned its 300 MW solar project for Solar Energy Corporation of India (Seci) in Koppal, Karnataka. The project, developed by TPREL subsidiary TP Saurya, is expected to generate 810 million units of renewable energy annually. This initiative will help mitigate approximately 103,820 tonnes of carbon emissions each year, supporting India's transition to cleaner energy sources. The commissioning brings TPREL's total renewable utility capacity to 12 GW, with 7.2 GW now operational.

टाटा पावर रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी लिमिटेड (TPREL) ने कर्नाटक के कोप्पल में सोलर एनर्जी कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (SECI) के लिए अपना 300 MW का सोलर प्रोजेक्ट शुरू कर दिया है। TPREL की सहायक कंपनी TP Saurya द्वारा विकसित इस प्रोजेक्ट से सालाना 810 मिलियन यूनिट रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी पैदा होने की उम्मीद है। यह पहल हर साल लगभग 103,820 टन कार्बन उत्सर्जन को कम करने में मदद करेगी, जिससे भारत को स्वच्छ ऊर्जा स्रोतों की ओर बढ़ने में सहायता मिलेगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट के शुरू होने से TPREL की कुल रिन्यूएबल यूटिलिटी क्षमता 12 GW हो गई है, जिसमें से 7.2 GW अब चालू है।
