TV9 Hindi · spirituality

Govardhan Puja in 2026 will be observed, resolving confusion over its date. The Pratipada Tithi, crucial for the observance, begins at 12:31 PM and concludes at 2:00 PM. Based on the 'Udaya Tithi' (sunrise timing) rule, the puja will be performed on the 10th. This festival, also known as Annakut, commemorates Lord Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill. It is celebrated the day after Diwali, with devotees offering food to the deity and celebrating nature's bounty.
