Gujarat Forest Department has captured 31 lions in the Gir forest region following a recent surge in attacks on humans. Seven of these lions have been identified and declared as 'maneaters' due to their aggressive behaviour. The authorities are intensifying efforts to manage the lion population and prevent further incidents.

गुजरात वन विभाग ने हाल ही में इंसानों पर हमलों की बढ़ती घटनाओं के बाद गिर जंगल क्षेत्र से 31 शेरों को पकड़ा है। इनमें से सात शेरों को उनके आक्रामक व्यवहार के कारण 'नरभक्षी' घोषित किया गया है। अधिकारी शेरों की आबादी को नियंत्रित करने और आगे की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए प्रयास तेज कर रहे हैं।
