Parker keeps the "SATC" wardrobe in an archive but feels wearing the clothes would be like donning a costume, as they belong to her character. She stated that there is a significant separation between herself and Carrie, making the outfits inapplicable to her personal life. Parker played the role for 27 years, expressing deep gratitude for the character and the audience's connection to her.
