ICC has implemented new playing conditions effective October 1, introducing a five-run penalty for batters who waste time. This rule, which begins with a warning, aims to curb delays in men's cricket. Additionally, pink balls are now permitted for trial in daytime Test matches, provided both teams mutually agree before the game commences. These changes also include updated specifications for cricket balls across men's, women's, and junior cricket, alongside clarifications on overthrows and catch completions.
