Times of India · business

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have reportedly paid significantly more than initially estimated for their historic Irish castle. The couple spent over €51 million, approximately $56 million, solely for the main residence and one acre of land. This figure is nearly double the €20-30 million projected by real estate insiders. The full cost of the 440-acre Strancally Castle estate remains undisclosed, expected to be substantially higher. The Gothic-revival castle, built around 1830, spans 16,000 square feet and was recently restored.
