UDF Convenor Challenges CM Satheesan to Name Flight Sponsor

The Hindu · india

UDF convenor Adoor Prakash has challenged Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan to reveal the identity of the "anonymous benefactor" who sponsored his chartered flight. The flight was taken from Thiruvananthapuram to Karipur in September to tour flood-affected areas in Malappuram. Prakash stated that Satheesan has a moral obligation to clarify the controversial ambiguity surrounding his refusal to name the sponsor. This demand raises the possibility of renewed internal feuding within the Congress party.
