Former Mohun Bagan Striker Armando Sadiku Retires From Football

Former Albania and Mohun Bagan Super Giant forward Armando Sadiku has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 35. Sadiku spent the 2023-24 season in India, winning the Durand Cup and the Indian Super League Shield with Mohun Bagan. He later played for FC Goa, securing the Bandodkar Trophy in 2024. Across his career, Sadiku played 38 matches for Albania, scoring 12 goals, and netted 21 goals in Indian football. He will now transition to a sporting director role at Swiss club AC Bellinzona.
