Jio Platforms' IPO has opened for subscription with a significant grey market premium (GMP) of around 22%, indicating strong investor interest. The Rs 30,213 crore issue, priced between Rs 1,065 and Rs 1,119, aims for a valuation of Rs 10.3 lakh crore. Brokerages are recommending subscription, citing Jio's dominant telecom position, growth in broadband and AI, and improving profitability. The company has already raised Rs 8,110 crore from anchor investors, including major domestic and global institutions. Jio is looking to expand revenue streams beyond its core telecom services.
