Assam Woman Found Dead Near Tracks After Complaining Of Drunk Men On Train

A 20-year-old woman from Assam, Himashree Boro, was found dead near a railway track in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district on Wednesday. She was travelling alone on the Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express from Visakhapatnam to Guwahati. Boro had reportedly complained to friends and family that she felt unsafe in a coach with unruly, inebriated men. While railway police suspect she fell from the running train, her family alleges she was murdered.

आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीकाकुलम जिले में बुधवार को रेलवे ट्रैक के पास 20 साल की असम की महिला हिमाश्री बोरो का शव मिला। वह कन्याकुमारी-डिब्रूगढ़ विवेक एक्सप्रेस से विशाखापत्तनम से गुवाहाटी अकेले यात्रा कर रही थी। बोरो ने कथित तौर पर दोस्तों और परिवार को बताया था कि वह नशे में धुत उत्पाती पुरुषों वाले कोच में असुरक्षित महसूस कर रही थी। जबकि रेलवे पुलिस को शक है कि वह चलती ट्रेन से गिर गई, उसके परिवार का आरोप है कि उसकी हत्या कर दी गई थी।
