The Madhya Pradesh High Court has quashed the preventive detention of two brothers under the stringent National Security Act (NSA), ordering their immediate release. The court criticised the "reckless invocation" of preventive detention, stating it has become an ordinary measure rather than an extraordinary one. Authorities were found to have shown a complete non-application of mind by processing and approving the detentions within a single day.

मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने कड़े राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा अधिनियम (NSA) के तहत दो भाइयों की निवारक हिरासत को रद्द कर दिया है और उनकी तत्काल रिहाई का आदेश दिया है। अदालत ने निवारक हिरासत के "लापरवाह आह्वान" की आलोचना की, यह कहते हुए कि यह एक असाधारण उपाय के बजाय एक सामान्य उपाय बन गया है। अधिकारियों ने एक ही दिन में हिरासत की प्रक्रिया और मंजूरी देकर दिमाग का पूरा गैर-अनुप्रयोग दिखाया।
