Times of India · india

The father of IIT-B student Sahil Wakode, who died by suicide, has demanded a separate FIR against police personnel for allegedly leaking his son's CCTV footage, private phone conversations, and personal information. Ravindra Wakode claims this selective circulation creates a one-sided narrative and could influence the investigation. He alleges that sensitive material began appearing in media reports after the probe was transferred to the crime branch. The complaint seeks to identify who accessed and authorised the disclosure of this material, aiming to prevent obstruction of justice.
