Man Gets 20 Years Jail For Raping Specially Challenged Minor Girl

A special court in Ramanagar has sentenced a factory worker, V Lokesh, to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a specially challenged minor girl in Kudur in October 2020. His associate, R Guruprasad, received a five-year sentence for recording the act on his mobile and sharing it. The court also imposed fines of Rs 10,000 on Lokesh and Rs 5,000 on Guruprasad. The conviction was aided by statements from villagers who had seen the video and the survivor's clear testimony.

रामनगर की एक विशेष अदालत ने अक्टूबर 2020 में कुदुर में एक विशेष बच्ची से रेप करने के आरोप में फैक्ट्री कर्मचारी वी. लोकेश को 20 साल की कठोर कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। उसके साथी आर. गुरुप्रसाद को मोबाइल पर इस कृत्य को रिकॉर्ड करने और साझा करने के लिए पांच साल की सजा मिली है। अदालत ने लोकेश पर 10,000 रुपये और गुरुप्रसाद पर 5,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। वीडियो देखने वाले ग्रामीणों के बयानों और पीड़िता की स्पष्ट गवाही से सजा दिलाने में मदद मिली।
