Sportstar · sports

The Ranji Trophy employs an extensive scoring system that awards points based on victory margins. Hyderabad recently defeated Tripura by an innings and 40 runs, securing six points plus a bonus point for an innings victory, placing them atop Group B with seven points. An outright win earns six points, while a first-innings lead without an outright win grants three points. Conversely, a first-innings loss yields one point, and an outright loss results in zero points.
