Police in Bijnor have arrested a 34-year-old man for allegedly murdering his cousin and attempting to kill her three-year-old daughter. The accused, Neeraj Kumar, was apprehended with the vehicle used in the crime. The victim, Usha, was found strangled and set ablaze in a forest area, while her daughter was found alive nearby. Neeraj had allegedly taken Usha and her children on a trip before committing the crime following a dispute over their relationship.

बिजनौर पुलिस ने 34 साल के एक आदमी को अपने चचेरे भाई की कथित तौर पर हत्या करने और उसकी तीन साल की बेटी को मारने की कोशिश के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी नीरज कुमार को अपराध में इस्तेमाल की गई गाड़ी के साथ पकड़ा गया। पीड़ित उषा को जंगल के इलाके में गला घोंटकर जला दिया गया था, जबकि उसकी बेटी को पास में जिंदा पाया गया। कहा जा रहा है कि नीरज ने अपराध करने से पहले उषा और उसके बच्चों को एक ट्रिप पर ले गया था, जो उनके रिश्ते को लेकर हुए विवाद के बाद हुआ।
