BC Welfare Association Demands 100 New Hostels, Gurukul Schools in Telangana

The National Backward Classes Welfare Association has demanded that the Telangana government sanction 100 new BC college hostels and 100 BC residential schools. Association president R. Krishnaiah also called for the construction of permanent buildings for existing government hostels and Gurukul institutions across the state. He urged the government to utilize land for educational and welfare infrastructure instead of auctioning it. The association also seeks improved facilities, increased financial assistance, and adequate staff for hostels to enhance educational opportunities for backward class students.

नेशनल बैकवर्ड क्लासेस वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन ने तेलंगाना सरकार से 100 नए बीसी कॉलेज हॉस्टल और 100 बीसी आवासीय स्कूल मंजूर करने की मांग की है। एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष आर. कृष्णाैया ने राज्य भर में मौजूदा सरकारी हॉस्टल और गुरुकुल संस्थानों के लिए स्थायी भवनों के निर्माण का भी आह्वान किया। उन्होंने सरकार से जमीन की नीलामी के बजाय शैक्षिक और कल्याणकारी बुनियादी ढांचे के लिए इसका उपयोग करने का आग्रह किया। एसोसिएशन ने पिछड़े वर्ग के छात्रों के लिए शैक्षिक अवसरों को बढ़ाने के लिए हॉस्टल में बेहतर सुविधाएं, बढ़ी हुई वित्तीय सहायता और पर्याप्त कर्मचारी भी मांगे हैं।
