Times of India - India · india

A father in England, Michael Gwilliam, who suffered from delusions that his four daughters were plotting against him for financial gain, had his will overturned by the High Court. He had left them only 25% of his £1 million estate, believing they wanted to control his finances and property. His daughters challenged the will, arguing his mental condition affected his decision-making. The court ruled in January 2026 that his delusions had influenced the will, declaring it invalid and allowing the daughters to inherit under intestacy rules.
