CRPF Sub-Inspector Dies By Suicide In Chhattisgarh's Bijapur Camp

A Central Reserve Police Force sub-inspector allegedly died by suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon at his unit's camp in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. The incident occurred on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday at the Mettagudam camp. Sub-Inspector Devanand Yadav, from the CRPF's 131st battalion, shot himself for unknown reasons. Fellow personnel provided first aid and he was shifted to Elmagunda camp where he died during treatment. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the circumstances.

छत्तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर जिले में एक सेंट्रल रिजर्व पुलिस फोर्स (CRPF) सब-इंस्पेक्टर ने कथित तौर पर अपने यूनिट के कैंप में सर्विस हथियार से खुद को गोली मारकर आत्महत्या कर ली। यह घटना सोमवार और मंगलवार की दरमियानी रात को मेट्टगुडेम कैंप में हुई। 131वीं बटालियन के सब-इंस्पेक्टर देवानंद यादव ने अज्ञात कारणों से खुद को गोली मार ली। साथी जवानों ने प्राथमिक उपचार दिया और उन्हें एल्मागोंडा कैंप ले जाया गया, जहाँ इलाज के दौरान उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने अप्राकृतिक मौत का मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
