Government Revises FASTag Guidelines for Divyangjan Category Beneficiaries

The government has revised FASTag guidelines for vehicles registered under the Divyangjan category, aiming to simplify toll procedures and promote ease of living. Beneficiaries will now receive an exempted FASTag based on their disability percentage. FASTags for individuals with 70% to 100% disability will be valid for five years, while those with 40% to less than 70% disability will have a three-year validity. This move seeks to make the National Highway tolling system more accessible and user-friendly for eligible persons with disabilities.
