The Punjab government has decided to transfer the investigation into the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota to the CBI. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the decision, stating the government will take all necessary steps to free Punjab from drugs. A CBI team has reached Mansa following assurances from Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

पंजाब सरकार ने नशीले पदार्थों के कार्यकर्ता परविंदर सिंह झोटा की हत्या की जांच सीबीआई को सौंपने का फैसला किया है। मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने यह घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि सरकार पंजाब को नशीले पदार्थों से मुक्त करने के लिए हर जरूरी कदम उठाएगी। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह के आश्वासन के बाद सीबीआई की एक टीम मानसा पहुंची है।
