State Bank of India is investigating the exposure of thousands of customer records on the dark web, with cybersecurity experts warning of increased fraud risks. The bank received alerts on October 16 about suspected data exposure, identifying 3,897 records with personally identifiable information like names and mobile numbers. SBI has appointed an agency to assess the leak's authenticity and extent, stating it expects no material impact on its systems or operations.

भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) डार्क वेब पर हजारों ग्राहक रिकॉर्ड के उजागर होने की जांच कर रहा है, जबकि साइबर सुरक्षा विशेषज्ञों ने धोखाधड़ी के बढ़ते जोखिमों के प्रति आगाह किया है। बैंक को 16 अक्टूबर को संदिग्ध डेटा लीक के बारे में अलर्ट मिला था, जिसमें नाम और मोबाइल नंबर जैसी व्यक्तिगत पहचान योग्य जानकारी वाले 3,897 रिकॉर्ड की पहचान की गई थी। एसबीआई ने लीक की प्रामाणिकता और सीमा का आकलन करने के लिए एक एजेंसी नियुक्त की है, और कहा है कि उसे अपने सिस्टम या संचालन पर कोई खास असर पड़ने की उम्मीद नहीं है।
