A recent nationwide poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research indicates that a majority of US adults believe President Donald Trump has prioritized his personal financial interests and those of his inner circle over the country's since returning to the White House in 2025. Over half of those surveyed feel Trump's second term has been self-serving, with only 11 percent believing he represents regular Americans. Fifty-five percent of Republicans acknowledged Trump has prioritized his business interests significantly.
