Kiren Rijiju Challenges Congress on Election Defeats, Questions EC Criticism

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has challenged the Congress party to explain its electoral defeats, questioning their criticism of the Election Commission and voter list changes. He posed five questions, including why the Congress secured only 44 seats in 2014 when their government appointed the election commissioners. Rijiju also asked how the party faced a third consecutive defeat in 2024 when the current Chief Election Commissioner was not yet CEC.

केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने कांग्रेस पार्टी को उसकी चुनावी हार का कारण बताने की चुनौती दी है। उन्होंने चुनाव आयोग और मतदाता सूची में बदलावों की उनकी आलोचना पर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने पांच सवाल पूछे, जिनमें यह भी शामिल है कि 2014 में कांग्रेस को केवल 44 सीटें क्यों मिलीं जब उनके शासन में चुनाव आयुक्त नियुक्त किए गए थे। रिजिजू ने यह भी पूछा कि 2024 में पार्टी लगातार तीसरी हार का सामना कैसे कर रही है जब वर्तमान मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त अभी तक सीईसी नहीं थे।
