Jaipur Cleanliness Drive Criticised Over Worker Shortage Concerns

A ward-wise cleanliness campaign by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation has drawn criticism from Congress councillors in the Kishanpole zone. They argue that concentrating sanitation workers in one ward disrupts regular cleaning services in other areas. The drive, inaugurated by Mayor Sunil Kothari, involves deploying workers from across the zone. Councillors expressed concern that this could lead to neglect of sanitation in unaffected wards. The civic body stated that recruitment is underway to address the staff shortage and ensure routine sanitation is maintained.

जयपुर में स्वच्छता अभियान की आलोचना, श्रमिकों की कमी पर चिंता

जयपुर नगर निगम द्वारा वार्ड-वार चलाए जा रहे स्वच्छता अभियान की किशनपोल जोन के कांग्रेस पार्षदों ने आलोचना की है। उनका कहना है कि एक वार्ड में सफाई कर्मचारियों को केंद्रित करने से दूसरे इलाकों में नियमित सफाई सेवाओं में बाधा आ रही है। मेयर सुनील कोठारी द्वारा शुरू किए गए इस अभियान में पूरे जोन से कर्मचारियों को तैनात किया जा रहा है। पार्षदों ने चिंता जताई कि इससे प्रभावित न होने वाले वार्डों में स्वच्छता की उपेक्षा हो सकती है। निगम ने कहा है कि कर्मचारियों की कमी को दूर करने और नियमित स्वच्छता बनाए रखने के लिए भर्ती की जा रही है।
