Unlisted Share Market Sees Drop in Activity Post NSE Listing
Economic Times Markets · stocks
Trading in the unlisted share market has significantly declined since the National Stock Exchange of India's (NSE) stock market debut last month. Brokers report that the average daily client purchases of unlisted shares have nearly halved across various platforms. NSE previously accounted for over half of the trading volumes in this unregulated market, making its listing a major factor in the slowdown. While activity has decreased, interest is shifting to other companies like Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India, Transline Technologies, and API Holdings.
