A significant fire broke out at a packing material manufacturing unit owned by an international jeweller in Kozhikode district on Friday morning. The blaze erupted in Munnoor near Ulliyeri, prompting a swift response from local residents and multiple Fire and Rescue Services units. Firefighters worked for several hours to bring the flames under control. While no casualties were reported, the incident resulted in extensive damage to machinery and stored packing materials.
