NHAI to Fix Thrissur Highway Safety Lapses

Authorities have been given one month to fix safety deficiencies on National Highways 66 and 544 in Thrissur district, following a fatal accident. NHAI project directors assured that identified lapses, including waterlogging and pedestrian difficulties, will be rectified. Warning boards, lighting, and high-intensity signs will be installed promptly. Ten foot overbridges are sanctioned on NH 66, with some already completed and others expected by October 15.
