Writer Vaidehi Urges Saving Kannada Poetry From AI Influence

Renowned writer Vaidehi has called for the preservation of Kannada poetry against the rising influence of artificial intelligence. Speaking at the inauguration of the five-day Bahurupi Kavigoshti (Poets’ Meet) in Mysuru, she emphasized the timeless essence of poetry, starting from a mother's lullaby. Vaidehi highlighted the power of simple words carrying deep meaning, citing Wordsworth as an example. The event, part of the Dasara festival and organized by the University of Mysore, also featured sessions on humor, youth, budding, and folk poetry.

सुप्रसिद्ध लेखिका वैदेही ने कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) के बढ़ते प्रभाव के खिलाफ कन्नड़ कविता के संरक्षण का आह्वान किया है। मैसूरु में पांच दिवसीय बहुमुखी कविगोष्ठी के उद्घाटन के अवसर पर बोलते हुए, उन्होंने मां की लोरी से शुरू होने वाले कविता के कालातीत सार पर जोर दिया। वैदेही ने वर्ड्सवर्थ का उदाहरण देते हुए गहरे अर्थ वाले सरल शब्दों की शक्ति पर प्रकाश डाला। मैसूरु विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा आयोजित दशहरा उत्सव के हिस्से के रूप में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में हास्य, युवा, नवोदित और लोक कविता पर भी सत्र हुए।
