BJP has won both the Nandigram and Rejinagar Assembly seats in West Bengal by-elections held on October 6. BJP candidate Hasi Rani Rath secured a record victory margin of over 1.22 lakh votes in Nandigram, while Shankharavh Sarkar won Rejinagar by over 75,000 votes. Notably, a significant portion of Muslim voters supported the BJP in both constituencies, a trend attributed by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to minority voters standing with the government. This victory increases the BJP's seat count in the West Bengal Assembly to 209.

पश्चिम बंगाल में 6 अक्टूबर को हुए उपचुनाव में भाजपा ने नंदिग्राम और रेजिनागर दोनों विधानसभा सीटों पर जीत हासिल की है। नंदिग्राम में भाजपा उम्मीदवार हासी रानी रथ ने 1.22 लाख से अधिक वोटों के रिकॉर्ड अंतर से जीत दर्ज की, जबकि शंकाराभ सरकार ने रेजिनागर में 75,000 से अधिक वोटों से जीत हासिल की। खास बात यह है कि दोनों निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में बड़ी संख्या में मुस्लिम मतदाताओं ने भाजपा का समर्थन किया, जिसे मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने अल्पसंख्यक मतदाताओं के सरकार के साथ खड़े होने का श्रेय दिया। इस जीत से पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा में भाजपा की सीटों की संख्या बढ़कर 209 हो गई है।
