DRI Nagpur seizes Rs1 crore amphetamine and leopard skin in separate actions

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in Nagpur has conducted two successful operations, busting an inter-state drug trafficking ring and an illegal wildlife smuggling network. In one operation, DRI officers seized 1.3 kg of amphetamine, valued at approximately Rs1.05 crore, from a woman on the Rajdhani Express at Nagpur railway station. Subsequently, DRI intercepted a wildlife trafficking network near Purada village, recovering a leopard skin and apprehending two individuals. These actions highlight the DRI's ongoing efforts against organised criminal activities.

नागपुर में डायरेक्टरेट ऑफ रेवेन्यू इंटेलिजेंस (DRI) ने दो सफल ऑपरेशन चलाए हैं, जिसमें एक अंतर-राज्यीय ड्रग तस्करी गिरोह और एक अवैध वन्यजीव तस्करी नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ किया गया है। एक ऑपरेशन में, DRI अधिकारियों ने नागपुर रेलवे स्टेशन पर राजधानी एक्सप्रेस में एक महिला से लगभग 1.05 करोड़ रुपये की 1.3 किलोग्राम एम्फ़ैटेमिन जब्त की। इसके बाद, DRI ने पुरडा गांव के पास एक वन्यजीव तस्करी नेटवर्क को रोका, जिसमें तेंदुए की खाल बरामद हुई और दो लोगों को पकड़ा गया। ये कार्रवाई संगठित आपराधिक गतिविधियों के खिलाफ DRI के निरंतर प्रयासों को दर्शाती हैं।
