Shivamogga Advocates to Launch Second Phase of Protest Seeking High Court Bench

Advocates in Shivamogga are set to begin the second phase of their protest on Monday, demanding a Circuit Bench of the High Court of Karnataka in the city. They will initiate a dharna at the district court premises, supported by various local organizations. A panel of judges has been formed by the Chief Justice to assess the feasibility of establishing a bench for coastal and Malnad districts. शिवमोग्गा के वकील सोमवार को शहर में हाईकोर्ट ऑफ कर्नाटक की सर्किट बेंच की मांग को लेकर अपने आंदोलन का दूसरा चरण शुरू करने वाले हैं। वे जिला अदालत परिसर में धरना शुरू करेंगे, जिसे विभिन्न स्थानीय संगठनों का समर्थन प्राप्त है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने तटीय और मलनाड जिलों के लिए बेंच स्थापित करने की व्यवहार्यता का आकलन करने के लिए न्यायाधीशों का एक पैनल बनाया है। वकीलों का तर्क है कि शिवमोग्गा सबसे उपयुक्त और सुलभ स्थान है, यह मांग 1950 से चली आ रही है।
