Three D Y Patil Scientists Named Among World's Top 2% By Stanford University

Three scientists from Dr D Y Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre in Pimpri have been recognized in Stanford University's 2026 rankings of the world's top 2% scientists. Dr Amitav Banerjee, a professor emeritus with over four decades of research experience in epidemiology, was recognized for his career-long contributions. Dr Sarika Chaturvedi, who works in public health and traditional medicine, and Dr Sachin Atre, a medical anthropologist with extensive public health research experience, also feature on the annual list.

पिंपरी स्थित डॉ डी वाई पाटिल मेडिकल कॉलेज, हॉस्पिटल एंड रिसर्च सेंटर के तीन वैज्ञानिकों को स्टैनफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी की 2026 की दुनिया के टॉप 2% वैज्ञानिकों की रैंकिंग में शामिल किया गया है। महामारी विज्ञान में चार दशकों से अधिक के शोध अनुभव वाले प्रोफेसर एमरिटस डॉ अमितव बनर्जी को उनके करियर-लंबे योगदान के लिए मान्यता दी गई। सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य और पारंपरिक चिकित्सा में काम करने वाली डॉ सारिका चतुर्वेदी और व्यापक सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य अनुसंधान अनुभव वाले मेडिकल मानवविज्ञानी डॉ सचिन अत्रे भी वार्षिक सूची में शामिल हैं।
